THis is a pretty cool video about an even cooler concept: The inverted bike shop. 718 Cyclery in Brooklyn NY took the normal process of bike selling, discarded it and came up with the idea of “Collaborative Builds” You can visit the bike shop here: www.718c.com The Inverted Bike Shop from Show Love on Vimeo.

So, here they are. The hydraulic rim and disc brakes from SRAM. So far only these photos have surfaced, so nothing yet on weight or price. They do look really nice, but the question of course is, if they actually work in a better fashion that today’s regular rim brakes. Only time will tell.. Well, nothing more to do than wait until summer 2012

It doesn’t matter what you ride, it doesn’t matter where you ride – just get out there and ride – snow or no snow. Pumping It Out – Through the Winter from Liam Mullany on Vimeo.

That is just one ugly bike!!! It was ugly in black, it was ugly in red, it was ugly in black/red, it was was ugly in white and it sure as hell is ugly in red/yellow/orange/white/set up as a road bike.

Garmin commercial

It warms my little sponsorship heart when I see companies that are able to connect their sponsorship nicely with the sponsee. Of course the Garmin sponsorship is a shoo-in. But still – it’s nice work both on the marketing and the visual side of things.

I went down to the shoe section and quickly found myself giving the Men’s ProGrid Kinvara 2 a look, as it was on sales at the bargain price of $59. So I decided to try it out. After looking in the shoes I had on, I went for …

It’s nice to see that some can still make paint schemes with an edge. And this one from Vandeyk certainly has an edge. Oh – and it’s limited to 25 pieces. More photos on http://www.cycleexif.com/vandeyk-nightstream-di2

Best winter gear

Posted on by Laurits Fischer-Hansen Posted in Bikes | Leave a comment

These shoe covers are my best winter gear and I wouldn’t go out without them. They are good for up to 10 degrees celsius and are still warm below 0 degrees. (not that I go out that much in below 0 degrees). What is your best winter gear?
